The Instant Eyelid Lift Without Surgery

By

Introduction

A friend of mine recently told me about how she is making money writing articles on HubPages, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I am by no means a blogger, but have fallen in love with sites and social networks like twitter, facebook, and kaboodle (my favorite shopping site:). I figured I would start with something I'm very familiar with and passionate about, my favorite beauty product! If at least one person finds this product as useful as I have, then this hub will be worth it, right?

This is still my first hub, so go easy on me! :)

My Drooping Eyelids

As I started to get into my late 40s, I would look in the mirror each day and see a tired old lady. I didn't feel tired, but I sure looked that way in my own eyes. The crows feet and other eye wrinkles had been slowly developing over the years, but that I was ready for. What really bothered me was the sagging skin above my eyelids. It was like the skin lost all its youth and vibrancy and turned into a droopy blob over my once beautiful eyes. It was time to look for a solution to this problem.

I turned to the internet, which is always the first place I go for research nowadays. After scouring for hours, I found a few relevant products, which were mostly expensive creams. My previous experience with creams found that 99% of them were bogus and didn't work at all, so I decided against going that route again. The only other option appeared to be blepharoplasty aka eyelid surgery, which was ranging between $3,000 and $4,000 at that time. Having a knife cutting around my eyes was even less appealing than using a gimmicky eye lift cream. No thanks.

So I gave up for a few years. I dealt with my droopy eyelids, tried a few time consuming exercises to strengthen the muscles in the meantime, but found that with everything else going on, I don't have the time it takes to make the exercises work.  I was able to repress this issue in my mind for a few years, but deep down it continued to bother me.

And Then...I found Eye Magic

After dealing with my droopy eyelids for a few years, I went back to the internet to research my options again. This time, I came across a product called Eye Magic designed specifically for eyelid drooping. This was NOT a cream, and was very affordable at $24.95, so I decided to give it a try. I'm sure glad I did!

At first, I had a hard time applying the product. They do tell you to take your time and be patient with application, because it takes some practice...which is very true. I was determined to make this work, because I saw this as my only option. Once I figured out how to properly apply it, my problem was solved!

What Makes Eye Magic Different

Eye Magic is not your typical beauty product.  It's designed for a specific purpose and is very unique in my opinion.  Here is what makes it different:

  • It's affordable:  Eyelid Surgery:  $3,000.  Eye Lift Cream: $75.  Eye Magic:  Priceless (just kidding).  Eye Magic is affordable, only $24.95.
  • It's unique:  Most big name products in this area are eye lift creams that simply don't work.  This is based on my previous experience!
  • It's easy to apply:  Once you get past the initial learning curve, Eye Magic is a piece of cake to apply.  I put it on with my makeup each day and now find it no more difficult than putting in my contact lenses.

Applying Eye Magic

Eye Magic can be easily applied in just 3 steps:

  1. Remove one of the Eye magic strips from the backing and place on your index finger.
  2. Place a small amount of gel on the adhesive side of the strip.
  3. Apply the gel side of the strip to the crease of your eye, providing structure to the sagging skin above the eyelid.  Reposition as necessary until you hit the sweet spot.

Now look in the mirror and see the results!  I was amazed the first time I applied it properly!

In Conclusion

Well, that's about it for my first hub. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope anyone who is looking for a solution to their droopy eyelid problem finds this helpful. I have included a video from YouTube and some links to Eye Magic listings on eBay, along with links to the Eye Magic web site.  Enjoy!

As a side note, I did ask for and receive permission from the friendly people at Eye Magic to use the photos and video on this blog. They were very willing to let me do so! :)

This was an excellent hub and I wish I had seen it prior to me having eyelid surgery several months ago, yes it was very expensive and it still has a droop. My condition is the result of a disease and not age. I'm going to look into this further. Thanks for sharing.

My order of "Eye Magic", just arrived and I have a question on how to apply the strip.

My question; Does the straight part of the strip go exactly on the crease or does the arched part go on the crease?

There aren't any CLOSE UP pictures or CLOSE UP videos of the strip positioning and application. The package doesn't have clear directions on how to position the strip either.

Sooo, I have to review this item as lacking in directions. After finding out how to position the strip to apply it, I should have a better idea of this product.

Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Dagmar,

Sorry for the late response. The straight part of the strip goes on the bottom, across the crease of the eye. The arched part should be at the top.

Good luck!
